Our STEAM Tweens & Teens Social Group is a great way for young people aged 8 - 18 to make friends and increase their confidence and flexible thinking through a shared interest in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and maths).
The group runs on Tuesday mornings from 10 am-12 pm at The Corner Youth Centre in Mornington.
The cost for Term 4 is $350 and is NDIS-eligible. Invoices are sent out fortnightly.
We offer two free trial sessions to ensure the group is a good fit for your young person before committing.
Our Term 4 Activities are:
October 8th: World Space Week
October 15th: Birds of a Feather
October 22nd: Halloween: Trick
October 29th: Halloween: Treat
November 5th: No Group Due to Cup Day
November 12th: Recycling
November 19th: Rainbows
November 26th: Seasons
December 3rd: Tiny Towns
December 10th: Christmas
Our STEAM Teens group mentors are Bridie & Imogen
All of our mentors & volunteers hold current Working with Children checks.
A parent or carer is required to stay during the session to supervise their young person.
Please note that when you accept a place in our groups, you are accepting a commitment to the entire term, and therefore, missed groups cannot be refunded. This is due to staffing numbers and the inability to fill that space with another participant. Extenuating circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis
